Welcome

I believe the person you want to be is your authentic self and I endeavor to journey with you to achieve your therapeutic goals. You can attain relief from, anxiety, depression, trauma, improve your relationships, navigate life transitions and improve your self esteem. In order to help you attain your goals I customize the therapeutic experience to meet your needs where your are at in the moment.

No single therapy works for everyone or applies to every situation. I use an integrative approach, which allows therapy to be responsive rather than rigid. It honors the complexity of your experience and draws from multiple evidence-based traditions to support meaningful, sustainable change.

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe therapy is a journey that should be collaborative, compassionate, and suited to you. Each person’s story is unique, and the ways we heal and grow can look different from one person to the next.

I draw from three powerful and effective therapeutic approaches:

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychoanalytic Therapy

I can meet your needs at each stage of your growth.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Sometimes, painful experiences get “stuck” in the nervous system — even when logically you know you’re safe, the body reacts as if the event is happening now. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those experiences so they lose their emotional intensity. You don’t have to relive memories in detail; instead, EMDR uses a gentle, structured process to help your nervous system heal.

Many clients experience a sense of relief and calm around memories or triggers that once felt overwhelming. This approach is especially helpful for trauma, intrusive memories, or persistent emotional reactions.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Some struggles are rooted in thoughts and habits that keep us stuck in unhelpful cycles. CBT gently helps us notice these patterns — the thoughts that fuel anxiety, the beliefs that contribute to sadness, or the avoidance behaviors that keep you from living fully.

In CBT, we work together to:

·       Understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected

·       Challenge unhelpful thinking

·       Practice new ways of responding

·       Build tools you can use in your everyday life

If you like clarity, structure, and practical strategies you can start using right away, CBT offers a supportive framework for growth.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic work was an early passion for me. It is depth work that allows for self exploration that can be transformational. Some challenges run deep and they become patterns that repeat in relationships, emotional reactions that don’t seem connected to the present moment, or long-held beliefs about yourself that keep you from feeling at ease. Psychoanalytic therapy helps to explore those deeper patterns and the “why” beneath them.

We’ll look together at:

·       How early experiences influence today

·       Recurring emotional or relational patterns

·       Unconscious beliefs shaping your inner world

This work fosters insight and emotional awareness, helping you live more freely and intentionally. The pace is thoughtful, reflective, and centered around understanding your inner life.

An Integrative, Personalized Path

Rather than relying on just one method, I tailor our work to you. Some days we might work with concrete tools to calm your nervous system. Other days, we explore deeper emotional themes. And when experiences reveal themselves to be traumatic in nature , EMDR can help your body and mind process what’s still unresolved.

This integrative approach means:

·       You get practical support and deep emotional work

·       We can shift focus as your needs evolve

·       You’re treated as a whole person — not a diagnosis or a label

You deserve therapy that feels supportive, respectful, and effective. Whether you come for coping tools, emotional healing, insight, or all of the above, I’ll walk alongside you with warmth and collaboration.

Let’s Take the Next Step
